After eight years, my ‘74 Buick Apollo is no longer mine. Amazingly, I sold it to the guy who offered to trade me a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for it.
Now there are 65 hundos burning a hole in my pocket. Off to Craigslist to find something my wife will let our girls ride in. Preferably something with a stick. Or maybe a nice big B-body to cruise in.
It feels weird selling my first classic car after owning it so long, but quite frankly I’m bored of driving around by myself.

Congratulations?
It’s funny that the Harley guy wound up buying it.

I’m fine with it. I’ve got the itch for something new :)

Nice price, and my condolences.
I’ve had my fintail for 20 years now, since I was 18. I don’t plan to sell, but if I had to, I’d be sad.

No condolences necessary. It feels weird that it’s gone, but I never intended to keep it forever. Time to move onto the next one, whatever it may be.

I really hate to hear that but sounds like you got a good price for it. Whatever replaces it needs to be a big block.

The price was a bit less than I wanted, but close enough to not be worth losing a sale, or have any regrets.
I am actually considering a big block B-body. Looks a bit too hacked together for my tastes, and it’s not particularly close to me to go look at.

a truck or van could be a couls source of a cheap vehicle with a big block, says the man with an F350 sporting a 460 and DRW’s
